It took a while, but here it is, finally, my second article! But even though it took a while, that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t busy these last few weeks. I “walked” for an amazing fashion event.
The amazing event I’m talking about is the Salonè Della Moda fashion show! I got the amazing opportunity to model the shows of the designers Chloe Sung, Rick Lee, Aennis Eunis, RJ Bodywear and By Marieve. I know that Stravagante PR also wrote an article about this show, but I wanted to give you a backstage glimpse.
Salonè Della Moda is a fashion event which lasts 2 days, in Rotterdam. Every year, different and very talented designers show their collections. Before the shows, I already read about the designers on salonedellamoda.com, but I didn’t know which shows I was going to model for, so I was really curious about it! After waiting what seemed to be a very long time, me and the other models finally heard which shows we were going to “walk”. For me it was one show on the first day, the show from the designer Chloe Sung. Her clothes reminded me of the traditional Japanese dresses and kimono’s. For this show, I sat in the make-up chair for about 2 hours. The foundation and blusher were nude, but the audience couldn’t miss my eyes. My brows sort of looked like those from Cara Delevingne, but even bigger! My eye shadow was bright pink. I walked the show in a two piece dress with a kimono, and I walked on a pair of amazing white heels that felt like 40 cm tall. The show went great!

On the second day, I walked the RJ Bodywear show with accessories from By Marieve and the Rick Lee show, with shoes from the designer Aennis Eunis. For the first show from RJ Bodywear my hair was wild and sexy, and my make-up nude and peachy. I got to wear two types of night dresses with cute socks and amazing jewelry from By Marieve. When walking the show I felt like a Victoria Secret Angel. For the first time I was told I could smile while walking a fashion show. I could smile, laugh, make contact with the audience, flirt and play with my clothes. I had so much fun!

But after this show, I had to rush to the make-up chair again for the second show. My hair went from wild, big and sexy Beyoncé hair, to a straight ponytail. And I also got big bright orange eye look. I wore a blue skirt with an amazing matching blue blouse, my second outfit was a blue and orange dress. The heels I wore were from the shoe designer Aennis Eunis.
Both of these days were great! I met such nice people and saw the most amazing clothes, it was a great experience! Want to know what this experience looked like? See the pictures below!
